My name is Joan Moore. I was born and raised in Massillon, Ohio, was home-schooled, then attended Kidron Central Christian School, and went onto graduate from Tuslaw High School in 2007. As a teenager, I felt the calling of God the Father on my life to be a missionary. My first mission trip, with my youth group, to Matamoros, Mexico, was the verification of that calling. I was indeed called to missions. In 2012, I embarked on a journey called The World Race. This is a mission trip which spans the globe, taking me to 11 countries in 11 months, including countries in Central America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and East Africa. Most recently, I heard the Lord calling me to work at Stansberry Children's Home in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and arrived there in September 2014. He has literally allowed me to, "Go into all the world..."
In January 2015, while reading a book called, "The Ancient Road Rediscovered" by M. James Jordan, I heard the Father speak to my heart, telling me to look in the ministry of the author. During my research I became aware of a program offered by Fatherheart Ministries called Inheriting Nations Schools. "Inheriting Nations Schools is about the heart and the head. On one hand it's about a deeper, personal experience of God as Father, on the other hand it's about exploring and laying strong biblical foundations and understanding in key areas. Together this beautiful blend of experience and biblical wisdom will naturally flow from and through us into the nations as we walk together with Him."-M. James Jordan
I knew this was the next step for me, Biblical schooling and time alone with the Father! That's right, in September 2015, I will be attending the Inheriting Nations School, on the Great Barrier Island off the coast of New Zealand! So for 12 weeks I will be on an island taking courses to help me grow deeper in my relationship with God the Father which in turn will help further my opportunities in the ministry. I am so excited for this opportunity to rest in the Father and learn more about Him, His Word and my identity as a daughter of the Almighty. I am confident this is where God is calling me to be for the next season of my life and cannot wait to experience all He has for me. The problem, however, is this, how am I going to pay for this? Between tuition, transportation, housing, etc, I need to raise $9000 to attend this school by mid-July. And as of now I AM STILL IN BOLIVIA! This seems impossible!
Then during one of my many freak-outs the Lord asked me the same question he always asks me, "Do you trust Me?"
Every time the Father has called me to do something he has provided exactly what I needed. Even back home, He has provided for me either financially or by sending the right people into my life at the right time. He used people to provide me with the financial, emotional and spiritual support I needed and I am choosing to believe that he will do the same thing this time!
By now I am sure you are thinking, where do I fit into all of this? I am glad you asked. I need help to raise this money and I am asking that you consider partnering with me bother prayerfully and financially! Yes, this is me unashamedly asking for money and prayers (just calling it like I see it).In all seriousness though I know that this school is where God is calling me to be and I am trusting that He is going to use people to help me.Therefore, further growing my faith and building a bigger, stronger community. Blessings always multiply, so by blessing me, I know God will in turn, bless you! The financial goal is $9000 but the spiritual goal and returns will be so much greater! Please consider partnering with me and see what God has in store for this next season of both our lives! I am trusting God the Father will do something great!
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged." -Deuteronomy 31:8
